Criminal Law
Criminal defense at every stage of the process, from the police investigation to sentence enforcement.
Criminal law demands presence and technical rigor at every stage. The practice follows the case from the investigation phase, through the evidentiary phase and the trial, up to the enforcement of the sentence, always attentive to the rights of the accused and to due process of law.
The work is conducted with discretion and constant dialogue with the client and their family, respecting the confidentiality the matter demands. Each situation is analyzed individually, within the limits of the law.
For matters that begin at the police station, the practice keeps a dedicated front for assistance during arrest and at the police station, with the phone number in plain view and guidance on the first steps.
Investigation and trial phase
Defense counsel in police investigations and criminal proceedings: attendance at hearings, production of evidence, oral arguments and appeals throughout the evidentiary phase.
Sentence enforcement
Follow-up on the serving of the sentence and the rights provided by law, such as progression to a less restrictive regime (progressão de regime), parole (livramento condicional), sentence reduction through work or study (remição) and other incidents of enforcement.
Jury Court (Tribunal do Júri)
Representation in intentional crimes against life, from the decision sending the case to trial (pronúncia) to the session before the jury panel (Conselho de Sentença), with careful preparation of the defense in the courtroom.
Traffic offenses
Representation in drunk driving cases and in accidents involving victims, from the police phase to the criminal proceedings. The practice also follows the consequences for the driver's licence, including suspension of the right to drive. It frequently assists professional and app based drivers, for whom the licence is a working tool.
The information on this page is general and informational. Each situation requires individual analysis, within the limits of the law.
